Absinthe Spoon I

This image of an Absinthe spoon is inspired by the history and culture surrounding the practise of Absinthe drinking - a practise banned in many countries but recently receiving much renewed interest with such films as Moulin Rouge. A fascinating beverage, the inspiration of many artists, poets and writers, both a muse and a devil to those initiated. I find the spoons beautiful in shape and I'm exploring many varieties in a series of still lifes.
